This Data Protection Statement has been drafted by BC INTERNATIONAL GIDA TİCARET A.Ş. (TIN: 1601712928) (“BC International” or “Company”), acting in the capacity of data controller pursuant to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”), in order to provide explanations and information regarding the processing of visual personal data belonging to the employees of BC International and the guests visiting our workplace in accordance with the Law. Your visual personal data collected by BC International will be processed in accordance with the basic principles listed in Article 4 of the Law in a manner that does not harm your personal rights in order to ensure the security of physical space, to ensure the security of data controller operations and to ensure workplace security, based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5/2-ç and f subparagraphs; if it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation and if the processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. 

Your visual personal data may be processed and collected automatically through the camera recording system in the common areas/sections where the relevant warning sign is located in BC International. Your visual personal data collected within BC International for the purpose of taking workplace security measures may be processed by BC International’s related officials. Camera footages may only be transferred to the relevant institutions within the requests of authorized public institutions and organizations and judicial or administrative authorities in order to fulfill possible legal obligations, based on the legal ground that it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation in accordance with Article 8/2-a of the Law.  

You may submit your requests regarding your rights and the enforcement of the Law by filling and signing out the application form that you can obtain from us or from the www.bcinternational.com.tr by;

1. You may submit a wet signed application form addressed to “Ömer Avni Mah. İnönü Cad. Devres Blok: 50 İç Kapı No: 3 Beyoğlu- İstanbul/ Turkey” through a notary public, by registered mail with return receipt requested at your discretion for ease of proof, or by your personal application, 
2. By sending an e-mail to [email protected] using the e-mail address notified by you to the company and registered in the system of the company.

As the personal data owner, in the application you will make to exercise your rights mentioned above and that contains the explanations regarding the right you have request to exercise; it is obligatory to include the elements listed in accordance with the “Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller”. Applications that do not contain such elements will be rejected by the Company and/or directed to valid application channels.

BC International reserves the right to make changes in this Data Protection Statement due to Law, secondary legislations and Personal Data Protection Authority Decisions.
